Tokyo 2020: Branding Concept

Taking inspiration from the iconic Japanese flag's red "dot", Tom decided to create an alternate re-brand for the Tokyo Olympic games in 2020. The idea takes each circle from the iconic Olympic logo and filling them in to blend with the red "dot", creating a recognizable and interchangeable way to display promotional images. There are some static elements to the design. The "2020" is always placed in the yellow dot and a different icon of a person playing one of the Olympic sports is in the red dot, as the event happens in Japan.
